Richard`s in Fresno

Great food and nostalgic atmosphere! I have a friend who says "You can never go wrong with Richard's" and she is absolutely right. The prime rib is to die for. The beefeater is awesome for lunch. Wonderful service! The bar side has those cool rounded booths, for a quieter feel, you can go to the dining room. It transports you back to the 60's. Go to Richard's!

Went here for my birthday! First time here! I will come back! Food and drinks delicious! 😍😍 They have security if your worried about the area. We had no problems.

I would like to thank the entire staff, especially our waitresses Katrina for making our 8yrs Anniversary a truly special event. Their timing is precisely perfect from when they bring out one dish to the next. My lovely fiance had the Chicken and Mushrooms with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and I had the RibEye steak cooked Medium with a baked potato. Our meal was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for the great memories.

The food, staff, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant makes this a great place for an intimate dinner to a cozy family dinner. The full rack of lamb was amazing.

Reservations at 6:30 for 4 adults. We were sat a table close to the bar and we were snug. We ordered drinks and dinner and got the salad and shrimp cocktail within a reasonable time. Around 8:00 our dinner arrived...I ordered filet mignon and husband ordered steak and lobster. We were not impressed with the wait nor the food...disappointed. That was our third visit. We kept hoping things would improve. Not a fan of Richard’s.

Service was EXCELLENT!! It was Saturday night about 830 they were out of prime rib.

Loved the shrimp cocktail, prime rib cooked to order, but the cut was very fatty. Mashed potatoes and green beans...not the greatest. Dark environment even during the day definitely gives an old tavern atmosphere.

I fell in live with this place. The Oysters won my heart and the kind attentive service locked me in. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy themselves with fantastic food and polite people.

seafood, yeah, very delicious. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. The bill was reasonable I would say. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

Very Nice Resturant, The Baked Osters was Amazing, the full rack of lamb was cooked perfectly, bacon wrapped filet was full of flavor and as tender, the 14oz prime rib was perfect temp and delicious. The CRU wine is a must. Hat's off from Ohio.

Food prepared to order. Steak lunch, wanted it medium rare and that's what I got. Nice. Server very attentive. Well done Richards.

Pleasantly surprised at the warm atmosphere the food was excellent! I've been recommending this place and will definitely return. The waitress was very friendly, no issues at all for an intimate dining experience. It was a bit loud since the tables are close and we had a few groups seated around us, possibly a negative for those that prefer a quiet dining room but it wasn't an issue for us at all. Loved the experience!

Soooo tasty! I had the French dip (beefeater), I try one at almost every restaurant I try. This one was exceptional!

The food is good and reasonably price. The dinner for 2 is a really good deal. There's even a glass of wine included. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly.

The club sandwich was delicious it ranks up there with the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park for a very delicious club sandwich the beer was cold the bartender's was kind and professional and everything was nice thank you Smitty

Ribeye steak cooked perfectly. Clam chowder very good. Service great. They have a second, larger, paved parking lot behind the original. Lots of parking.

Quirky Mad Men vibe. A definite must if you're visiting Fresno. Get the prime rib nachos and creme brulee

Go back to the mid-1960s and enjoy the small intimate atmosphere. You can imagine the Madmen with cigarettes sitting at the bar in their suits. The dinner for 2 is a great deal and every single item was delicious!

Food was by far the best. The prime rib steak was one of the best steaks of my life. The service is second to none. Al the way around it was perfect. I rarely use that word. But it's the only word that I can come up with to describe both the food and my experience. Lifetime patron now.

I had like lobster their twice now and both time is was not cooked all the way. It still had the raw texture. The cook really needs to do better on the cooking time. Won’t order again.

Richards is a classic restaurant in the fresno area. And it’s no misunderstanding why. Family atmosphere the best food. And it may be called Richards Prime Rib and Seafood. But the creme brûlée is a highlight as well.
